Voice personalisation and EEG access are different technologies
Voice banking and voice synthesis use recorded speech to support a personalised synthetic voice. This is separate from MindClick’s research into wearable-based control signals for selecting letters, words or symbols.
Neither a voice recording nor participation in a demonstration guarantees future access, communication performance or lifelong service availability. Voice-personalisation options, availability, consent and service terms must be confirmed separately.
For people living with ALS or other conditions affecting speech and movement, communication needs vary and may change over time. Decisions about current AAC support should be discussed with the person’s care team and AAC professionals; the MindClick prototype is not offered as a substitute for an established communication aid.
