Crowdfunding campaign reached 1000% success

Our Spreds campaign reached its maximum funding result: €750,000 backed by more than 120 investors. Thank you to everyone who supported this milestone in our development journey.

Our mission is to expand communication access for people who have difficulty speaking or using conventional access methods. The work brings together communication software, voice technology and non-invasive brain-computer interface research.

Clarifying the development programme

MindClick is being developed as a trained selection controller. Users construct messages through selections; the system does not decode a complete intended sentence directly from brain activity. A personalised synthetic voice is a separate software function, not a reconstruction of speech from EEG.

Correction — 10 September 2026: Earlier wording described direct speech decoding, broad disease-specific availability and complete-sentence output simply by attempting to communicate. Those descriptions overstated current capability and have been removed. A diagnosis, willingness to communicate or cognitive ability alone does not establish suitability; usable control signals, fitting, reliability and usability also require evaluation.

This article records a historical fundraising milestone, not a current investment offer or a guarantee of product availability, clinical benefit or financial return.
