In 2024, MindSpeaker presented its communication-technology work to the Modem expert network at Thomas More. The network brings together expertise on technology for people with disabilities, including advice, professional training and research.
Arno Libert, MindSpeaker’s CEO at the time, introduced the platform and discussed the potential of AI-assisted message building and alternative access methods for people with speech and motor difficulties.
This was an opportunity for professional discussion, not a clinical demonstration of effectiveness in people with dysarthria. Such outcomes depend on the individual, the configuration and appropriate evaluation.
We continue to welcome input from speech therapists, AAC specialists and research partners to shape usability research and future development.
