About MindSpeaker
We bring communication software, voice technology and non-invasive brain-computer interface research together to expand access to AAC.
Our mission
When speaking or using familiar access methods becomes difficult, having another way to express a message matters.
MindSpeaker’s work combines AI, communication software and non-invasive BCI technology. The focus is practical: helping people explore access methods that fit their abilities and everyday needs.

Researching personalised access
Based in Herent, MindSpeaker brings together expertise in brain-computer interfaces, software, product development and communication support. Our research roots include the work of Prof. Marc Van Hulle at KU Leuven.
We welcome AAC dealers, speech therapists and research organisations interested in exploring our early MindClick platform. Proposed research examines control signals, electrode configurations, usability and customisation needs. Participant testing requires an agreed research framework and the applicable regulatory, ethics and consent arrangements. Early kits are not offered for routine patient care or onward patient supply.
MindClick provides a trained control input. MindSpeaker helps the user construct and speak the message. Eye navigation is an option—not the defining feature of the BCI approach.

Development & quality
We have established a quality management system to support product development. Our technical documentation and release records are being updated to reflect hardware and software changes. Clinical evaluation and the conformity work for the proposed medical use remain in progress.
A quality management system is not, by itself, confirmation that a product is CE-marked or available for routine patient use.
